Recently, after their 13 members of their CSK squad including two players — Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaikwad– were tested positive for Coronavirus.

Harbhajan Singh had also missed the pre-season camp earlier this month, which was held from August 15 to 20.
This year, IPL was scheduled to be played entirely in UAE because of the rising Coronavirus situation in India. Though the schedule of the league isn’t out yet, a total of 60 matches will be played across three formats – Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. With the season kickstarting from September 19 and the final taking place on November 10.
