South Africa’s Aiden Markram has been receiving praise from all corners for his brilliant performance during the fourth match of the ODI World Cup 2023 between South Africa and Sri Lanka at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday (October 7). He etched his name into the record books by smashing a 49-ball ton and became the fastest centurion in the ICC Cricket World Cup history.

He reached the triple-figure milestone in style by smashing a colossal six off Dilshan Madushanka. He scored a brilliant 106 runs off 54 deliveries comprising 14 fours and three maximums, leaving fans awe-inspired.

He has been receiving praise from all corners, however, one post that stole the limelight came from the love of his life. His wife Nicole Danielle O’Connor also took to her social media and showered praise on him. Sharing a picture of him from the match, she wrote:, “No words, just proud.”
