India’s batsman Ajinkya Rahane took a splendid catch at first slip to dismiss Sri Lanak’s star batsman Kumar Sangakkara. This was Kumar Sangakkara’s last Test match at Galle- the ground where he made his Test debut. Ashwin bowled a brilliant off-cutter and invited Sangakkar to play a cover drive. Sangakkara fell for the trap and edged it straight to Ajinkya Rahane, who took a brilliant catch diving full length to his left.

Ashwin kept things tight before inducing a false shot from Sangakkara outside off. The resultant outside edge was taken well by a diving Rahane at slip.
