Former England Test captain Alastair Cook revealed his all-time XI in a video posted by Lord’s Cricket Ground’s Youtube channel. Cook is England’s all time leading run scorer in Test cricket and he is regarded as one of the best Test batsmen in the history of the game.

Many believe that, statistically, only Alastair Cook is capable of getting close to Sachin Tendulkar’s record in Test cricket. Cook has so far scored 11,174 runs from 142 Tests, which makes him England’s highest run-scorer in the format.

Interestingly, Alastair Cook didn’t pick even a single Indian player in his all-time XI. He picked cricketers from almost all other playing nations but there was no one from India, including Sachin Tendulkar who is the all-time leading run scorer in Test cricket.
