Ambati Rayudu Has Announced His Retirement From The IPL

Ambati Rayudu had made his debut in the Indian Premier League in the year 2010 when he was picked by Mumbai Indians. Ambati Rayudu repaid the faith Mumbai Indians showed in him and made consistent contributions with the bat.

He even picked the keeping gloves to bring more balance to the side. He was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad and played all the games in the 2013 season when MI lifted their first of the five trophies. Playing for Mumbai Indians, Ambati Rayudu announced himself as a cool finisher of the game, with his ability to swing smooth sixes.

Over the last few years, Ambati Rayudu had become an integral part of the Chennai Super Kings camp. He was roped in by the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 mega-auctions for INR 6.75 crore and since then there have been no turning backs for the batting stalwart. 2018 was also Rayudu’s breakthrough year as he played a crucial role in Chennai Super Kings’ title victory.
