Amish Devgan Shared A Hilarious Meme On PM Modi Consoling Mohammed Shami- The Indian cricket team faced a crushing defeat at the hands of Australia in the final match of the ODI World Cup 2023, ending their dream run in a tournament where they had been undefeated until that summit clash.

Team India was riding on team India’s impressive streak, winning 10 consecutive matches, including a semi-final win over New Zealand. However, they suffered their only defeat at the most crucial juncture, the final match, against the mighty Australians, who stole the show with their dominating performances in all the departments of the game.

PM Modi Consoled Mohammed Shami

The defeat broke a billion hearts and our cricketers were visibly frustrated with the defeat. After the match, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Indian team’s dressing room. He paid a visit to the dressing room to lift the spirits of the players after their heartbreaking loss. The Prime Minister’s gesture was seen as an effort to console the team and acknowledge their hard-fought journey throughout the tournament.

“Unfortunately yesterday was not our day. I would like to thank all Indians for supporting our team and me throughout the tournament. Thankful to PM Modi for especially coming to the dressing room and raising our spirits. We will bounce back!”
