For the unversed, Chahar picked up a hamstring injury during India’s home series against West Indies in February and has been out of action ever since. He had then injured his back at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Deepak Chahar was bought back by Chennai Super Kings for a whopping amount of INR 14 crore in the Indian Premier League 2022 mega-auction however he was forced to sit out of the competition due to an injury. The absence of the star all-rounder was felt badly in the Chennai Super Kings camp in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League as the MS Dhoni-led side finished second last in the points table of the season.
Now, since the T20 World Cup 2022 is just around the corner, Amit Mishra’s Tweet has brought up a sigh of relief among the Indian fans.
Deepak Chahar is currently undergoing rehabilitation at NCA:
Currently, Chahar is undergoing his rehabilitation at the NCA and is on course to a full recovery. Fans will be hoping to see him fully fit soon as he looks forward to making the cut for the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2022.
It was just a few days ago when Chahar shared a video of him rolling his arms in a club match after completing the rehabilitation program at NCA. Sharing the video, he wrote: “Bowled in a match after 5 months, felt equally happy when I made my debut,”
