An Army Man Asked Yuvraj Singh A Pointed Question After He Slammed Shahid Afridi

It was a few days ago when Indian batting GOAT Yuvraj Singh took to his twitter and asked his fans to contribute to Shahid Afridi’s organization in order to help Pakistan during the Coronavirus pandemic. Yuvi had found himself at the receiving end of criticism and trolling over the same.

However, the former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has always made controversial remarks regarding India and Indian army. He has never out on any opportunity to reflect his hatred towards us. In a recent viral video, he can be seen insulting the Indian army and PM Modi. In the viral video, Shahid Afridi gave his controversial opinion to garner everyone’s attention on social media. He had said:
“I am in your beautiful village, I am very delighted. I was planning to visit you all from a long time. The world is currently infected by such a big disease. But the bigger disease is in Modi’s mind. Modi deployed 7 lakh soldiers in Kashmir, same as the total strength of Pakistani forces.”

The all-rounder further claimed that the Indian people residing in Kashmir are favoring the Pakistani army. After the video went viral, people on social media started calling out Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh, who had earlier sought help from his fans.
Now, Yuvraj Singh finally took to his Twitter and slammed Shahid Afridi and expressed regret over his decision of making appeal earlier. He also made it clear that he is never going to do the same mistake again. He wrote:

“Really disappointed by @SAfridiOfficial‘s comments on our Hon’b PM @narendramodi ji. As a responsible Indian who has played for the country, I will never accept such words. I made an appeal on your behest for the sake of humanity. But never again. Jai Hind”

Here, check out the tweet of Yuvraj Singh:

His tweet was soon flooded with reactions from Twitterati, who lauded him for his tweet. A popular twitter user ‘The Skin Doctor’ who is a retired army officer also took to his twitter and pointed out an important question for the Indian cricketer. He wrote:
“Glad you realised Yuvi bhai. Humanity should be a two way street. For years only we have been the ones doing things for humanity and they’ve been backstabbing us. You think Afridi can ever appeal Pakistanis to donate for India in our fight against COVID? Never. Try asking him.”
