The Indian cricket team suffered a humiliating defeat in the just concluded two-match Test series against New Zealand. Though, Virat Kohli and co. fought back well in the second match but the New Zealanders outperformed Team India throughout the match.

The Indian cricket team, which is ranked as number one cricket team in Test cricket, faced their first Test series white-wash in eight years in the ICC World Test Championship after New Zealanders blanked them 2-0 and gained 120 points in the standings.
Virat Kohli and co, after getting white-washed in ODI carried their poor form in Test series as well. None of the batsmen was able to dominate Kiwi bowlers as they only managed to cross the 200 runs landmark. The skipper of the team, Virat Kohli looked absolutely blank throughout the series as he failed to give the best of his abilities.
Talking about New Zealanders, they gave a brilliant performance in all the three departments of the game. On Day 3 of second Test match, despite a great bowling effort from India’s ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah, the New Zealanders successfully chased down the given target of 132 runs quite easily with the help of the fifties from Tom Blundell and Tom Latham.

He took to his Twitter and expressed his disappointment with Team India losing the series to New Zealanders. Expressing his disappointment, he wrote:
“How does one explain complete Kiwi dominance over No1 Test team..?!! Am struggling to press the right button..could someone pl help without being abusive or atrociously unkind to any individual..?!!Meanwhile, let’s praise NZ fr cool & calculated commitment..& staying Calm/Humble!”
