Angry Fans Reacted On Twitter After India Lost Yet Another Series In SA

The South African cricket team made a stunning comeback against team India, as they managed to win the third and final Test match in Cape Town by 7 wickets to seal the series by 2-1. The series decider between the Indian cricket team and South Africa turned out to be a complete entertainer as the game proceeded like a rollercoaster.

After losing the first Test match in Centurion, the Proteas made a remarkable comeback in the series, beating the Indian cricket team in back-to-back two matches and by the same margin of 7 wickets.

Coming into the series decider, team India was hailed as the favorites to win the series. However, after conceding a 13-run lead in the first innings, the South African pace attack brought their side into the game despite a stunning century by Rishabh Pant.

That will be Lunch on Day 4 of the 3rd Test.

South Africa require 41 runs to win.

Chasing a target of 212 runs on a decent batting surface would have been tough for the Proteas batters, but all thanks to the stunning effort from Keegan Petersen, who made the most of the opportunity and smashed a 113-ball 82 runs that completely deflated the Indian side.

The hosts chased down the target of 212-run with seven wickets to spare as Keegan Petersen (82) top-scored for the side. Rassie van der Dussen (41*), Dean Elgar (30), and Temba Bavuma (32*) also made key contributions to the victory.

Meanwhile, fans on social media were left disappointed with India’s defeat in the ongoing 3-match Test series against South Africa. In no time, Twitter was flooded with reactions from the fans to India’s defeat.

Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati to this:

I thought this was our best chance to create a history! Considering our team and theirs. Well played South Africa. Marco Janson and Keegan Peterson are future South African stars.

Result didn’t go our way but that doesn’t change the fact that this was a gripping series. Every session was a contest. Congratulations to @OfficialCSA. You’ve got great foundation to build on. Petersen is ??And Rabada-Nortje-Ngidi-Jansen attack is going to be ? #SAvIND

Final frontier remains unconquered. 2018 was a contest between two evenly matched sides and you could take a lot of heart from the performances even in a series defeat. This tour though…winning the first test…superior side…and then losing 1-2. This will hurt. Should hurt.

South Africa are really having a resurgence in recent months. Had a great T20 World Cup (given their squad) and now the test series vs India (after losing the 1st game).

Good days for them and hopefully they build a strong team! Sad India lost 🙁#SAvIND

Exactly South Africa cashed on Ind A vs SA A. We just ignored Vihari’s knock and we are paying for that. It’s high time now India should go for Vihari and back him for Atleast 2-3 series.#INDvSA https://t.co/f0KhBdrxbI

That is proper!!!!

Beating the top ranked side in the world so comprehensively

Our test team deserves more respect than they are given

Well done boys ??#ProteaFire

Amazing fight boys. Great Test series. Well done to both teams for pulling us all in?

Had tweeted this before the series. Sad to see same story this time as well. Just didn’t score enough runs. #SAvIND pic.twitter.com/AuK8QGIZn2
