Since the appointment of Anil Kumble as India’s head coach, many innovative ways of coaching have come into notice. Kumble has introduced many new programmes to improve the team bonding. We saw Indian cricketers enjoying a drum session before leaving for the tour of West Indies. They also took part in a Yoga session. All these rules and new ways of coaching is actually profiting the side and the mood of players are currently very chilled out.

As reported by Indian Express, if any Indian player is late for the Indian team bus then that particular player will have to be ready to give a fine of $50, and this has been instructed by coach Anil Kumble. Also, there will be an official meeting every fourth day and every player is free to come and chat with him as his doors are always open for them.

“Everything is organised. Kumble wants players to understand the importance of discipline and, at the same time, give them freedom.

“He knows where to draw the line. The Indian team is scheduled to go for scuba diving in the coming days. These small things have been kept for the players to unwind,”a souce was quoted as saying in Indian Express report.
