It is not easy for Bollywood stars and Indian cricketers to talk about their relationship as media and fans use this a medium to create controversies. India’s Test captain Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been in a relationship from 2 years or so and they have had their share of controversies.
Every time Virat Kohli failed to score, fans on social media blamed Anushka Sharma in a “funny” way. The troll brigade created such a havoc on social media that Virat Kohli sent out a post shaming all those insulted or made fun of Anushka after his failures on the field.
While Virat Kohli has time and again spoken about his relationship in interviews or through his action on the field, but Anushka Sharma has always maintained a dignified silence on the question about her relationship with Virat. Neither has she confirmed nor denied the reports. But fact remains that she has never hidden it from anyone.
In an interview recently, Anushka finally addressed the issue and said:
“I won’t hide (the relationship) behind dark car windows or use the back entrance, but I won’t talk about it because it eclipses everything else I do or say.”
