The Indian Test and ODI skipper Virat Kohli, who was rested for the T20I series and the first test match against the Kiwis, returned back to the field in Mumbai for the practice session as he geared up for the upcoming second Test match against the Kiwis. However, little did he know that he would have an unexpected visitor during his recent practice session.

On Tuesday, Virat shared a picture about hanging out with a cat which has left people smiling. In the picture, Virat shared how he met a cool cat while at practice. Sharing a couple of pictures, Virat wrote:

Responding to this, Virat took everyone by surprise and left everyone in splits. Virat hilariously joked:  “Launda from Dilli and Mumbai ki Billi”.

The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team suffered a horrific campaign at the just-concluded T20 World Cup tournament, as they were knocked out after the Super 12 stage, after losing big games to New Zealand and Pakistan.  After India’s exit from the World Cup 2021, Virat Kohli stepped down from the captaincy duties of the shortest format of the game in order to manage the workload better.

He has also been rested for the first of the two Tests against New Zealand and will join the Indian squad in the second Test in Mumbai from December 3rd. In Virat’s absence, Ajinkya Rahane will be seen leading the team in the first test match.
