India’s superstar singer Arijit Singh won everyone’s hearts with his melodious performance at the opening ceremony of the sixteenth Indian Premier League on Friday, March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday (March 31st).

While Arijit entertained over one lakh fans present at the Narendra Modi Stadium and millions of fans watching the opening ceremony live, with his soulful music, he also won everyone’s hearts with his beautiful gesture for MS Dhoni.

Well, towards the end of the opening ceremony, the two captains—Dhoni of CSK and Hardik of GT—also joined the stage to click photos with the performers and BCCI officials along with the winners’ trophy, and during that time only Arijit won everyone’s hearts with his humble act, that showed he is a man of culture.

In a heartwarming gesture, Arijit touched Dhoni’s feet. Several pictures and videos of the superstar singer bowing down before Dhoni and touching his feet have gone insanely viral on social media and have left everyone in awe.

Dhoni Grooving To Arijit’s Songs

During the opening performance, as Arijit enchanted the crowd at the venue with his magic, the fans went berserk as the legendary captain Dhoni grooved to Arijit’s performance in the dugout. Dhoni enjoyed the singer’s tunes as he donned the Yellow jersey.

In the first game of the new season, the defending champions Gujarat Titans beat MS Dhoni’s four-time winners Chennai Super Kings by five wickets to get off to a winning start. GT chased down the required total with four balls to spare and lost only five wickets, riding on Shubman Gill’s stunning knock of  63 off 36 balls.
