Ashes 2021: Jos Buttler Takes An Unbelievable Catch

England’s wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, once again showed everyone why he is hailed as one of the best fielders around the world. The star cricketer took an incredible one-handed catch as England struck early on the opening day of the Adelaide Pink-Ball Test on Thursday.

As the second Test match of the ongoing Ashes series kickstarted in Adelaide, the Australian side won the side and elected to bat first. However, they made the worst possible start to their innings as they were reduced to 7-1 when Stuart Broad claimed the wicket of Marcus Harris, thanks to the stunning sublime diving effort of Joss Buttler.

Stuart Broad bowled down the leg side and Harris, in a desire to hit the boundary, aimed to pull it past the wicketkeeper but failed to get the timing right. A rough edge carried through and Jos Buttler made no mistake behind the stumps.

Buttler put an extraordinary effort to dismiss Marcus as he dived to his right side and ended up taking a brilliant one-handed catch behind the stumps.

The video of the sensational catch has been going viral on the internet. The video was also shared by the official Twitter account of Cricket Australia, captioning it as: “INSANE! Buttler pulls in an all-timer behind the stumps! #Ashes”.
