Now when Ashish Nehra has hung his cricket boots forever the question, is what next? His fans are going berserk to know about Ashish Nehra’s post retirement plans. Like the usual trend is, cricketers post retirement end up being a commentator or a coach.

The likes of Virender Sehwag, Zaheer and Murali Karthik took to commentary and Rahul Dravid and Sanjay Bangar became cricket coaches. Since the surge of Hindi commentary retired Indian cricketers have more post retirement options than ever. What would Nehra Ji be seen doing after he’s done playing cricket?

Would he be a commentator or a bowling coach? We’re much excited to know this, aren’t we? Well, Ashish Nehra would do neither of the two.

His father who was present at the Kotla to see Ashish Nehra’s farewell game hinted at Ashish Nehra’s retirement plans. He said that Ashish Nehra has a few academics in Uttar Pradesh and he would most probably end up looking after them.

His father also revealed that Nehra’s farewell game was actually the first time he saw Nehra playing from the stands. He added that once they went to see a test match in England but Nehra was the 12th man and on another occasion his parents ended up reaching late for an ODI and it was over till then.
