Now players or the former cricketers have even turned the social media into a virtual battleground in the digital age. Players are often seen indulged in banters or at times some serious fights over the social media and here comes another one.
The former South African opener Herschelle Gibbs tried to troll Ravichandran Ashwin and got it back from him. Gibbs tried to mock Ravindran Ashwin for his fitness and asked him to run faster and improve his cricket.

The Ugly War Of Words Between Ashwin And Gibbs
The social media exchange between these two got really ugly and that’s not at all sporty. While Gibbs tried to pull Ashwin’s leg, Ravichandran Ashwin perhaps didn’t like the joke and went about telling Gibbs that he isn’t like him who’d go about fixing matches.

Then after this Gibbs responded yet again and asked Ashwin if he can’t really take a joke. To this Ashwin responded

Well now, do you think Ashwin unnecessarily took an offense to a joke from Gibbs? Or was it legit that he turned this savage to give it back to Gibbs?
Perhaps Ashwin could have avoided dragging the fixing issue in this banter and could have shown some maturity by not taking an offense to the joke or perhaps he gave a well deserved and befitting answer to Gibbs. This banter is just so subjective!
