Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli will be hoping to find his rhythm back when he returns to international cricket after a long gap of 1.5 months at the Asia Cup 2022. The Indian cricket team will be kickstarting their campaign in the Asia Cup 2022 with a high-voltage clash between India and Pakistan and Virat would be hoping to leave a long-lasting impact with the bat.

It has been a long time that Virat has been going through a lean patch in his career, with his last international century coming more than 1000 days ago. He has endured a prolonged run drought and is struggling to score a century.

He was even seen struggling to score runs in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League and during the England tour, where he failed to produce some big knocks. However, with the Asia Cup 2022 all set to kickstart, Virat would be hoping to return back to his form.

Meanwhile, Kohli’s form has become one of the most-discussed topics on social media, with several people giving their takes on his position in the team. Ahead of the much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash in Asia Cup 2022, former Indian cricketer Mohammed Azharuddin shared a cryptic post about Virat Kohli.

Yes, you read that right. The cryptic text seems to have been directed at Kohli. In his Tweet, he urged everyone to stop using phrases like “out of form” because they put a lot of pressure on the players. He wrote:

“‘Out of form’ a phrase that puts unprecedented amount of pressure on a player. Let them just go ahead and play with no speculations. #AsiaCup2022″
