On Monday, the much-awaited event of the year ICC Awards 2020 took place and it won’t be wrong to say that the Indian cricketers dominated the lists.

While MS Dhoni won the ICC Spirit Of The Cricket Award of the decade for his heart-winning gesture towards Ian Bell, on the other hand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli won two prestigious ICC awards on Monday. The ICC named Kohli as men’s ODI cricketer of the decade and Sir Garfield Sobers award for ICC Male Cricketer of the Decade.

Meanwhile, an Australian journalist tried to insult India’s pride IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman on Twitter.

Dennis Freedman is one of the very entertaining cricket writers from Australia. He is a big fan of Pakistan cricket and he has also made a documentary on Pakistan cricket. On social media, he keeps trying his best to impress Pakistan cricket fans, and for him, insulting Indians and Indian cricketers is one of the easiest ways to do it.  However, he often finds himself at the receiving end of criticism because of his tweets.

Over the years, we have seen him posting many controversial tweets, pictures, and videos against Indian cricketers, especially Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Gautam Gambhir.

In his latest tweet, Dennis Freedman tried to take a dig at IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman. Well, after the ICC Awards 2020, a new trend started on Twitter and many came up with hilarious memes on the theme: “The ICC …. of the decade goes to…”.

Joining the bandwagon, Dennis Freedman took a dig at IAF Pilot Abhinandan. He wrote:

“The ICC Pilot of the Decade goes to….”
