Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya, who received his first ODI cap for India from his brother Hardik Pandya, broke down into tears after he made his dream debut on Tuesday in the ongoing 1st of the 3-ODI match series in Pune.
The all-rounder broke the record for the fastest half-century by a debutant in the ODI format of the game. Coming out to bat at number 7, Krunal took the game by storm from the first ball he faced. He got to his 50 in just 26 balls as he helped team India give a competitive target to England. His stunning knock was laced with seven fours and two sixes. After he smashed his half-century, an emotional Krunal Pandya dedicated his knock to his father.

Later, after the match, the cricketer broke down during the interview after he could only manage to say: “This one was for my dad.”
