Pak coach compares Babar Azam with Virat Kohli

Mickey Arthur, the coach of the Pakistan cricket team went about comparing Virat Kohli with Babar Azam. Arthur said that Babar Azam is equally good as Kohli given the stars of both. It has become a tradition that people have now started to compare all good batsman with Virat Kohli.

Babar Azam was modest when asked about this comparison dream by his coach. In an interview with ESPN, Babar Azam, the batting sensation form Pakistan said that Kohli is the number 1 batsman and he doesn’t want to be compared with Virat Kohli.

Taking about the comparison with Virat Kohli by Mickey Arthur, Babar Azam said, “He compared me to a very big player. That shouldn’t be done. Maybe the stats at the start of our career are similar. But he is the number 1 batsman in the world.”

Babar Azam further added that he too would want to perform at a high level for Pakistan. Babar Azam is looking forward to perform grandly in the upcoming series against the Kiwis. He’s been a great batsman for Pakistan and is going strength by strength.
