Pakistan captain Babar Azam missed out on an opportunity to register his Test hundred during the 1st day of the third Test match of the ongoing series between England and Pakistan at the National Stadium in Karachi on Saturday. However, after getting dismissed, the Pakistan captain was seen losing his cool and shouting at his teammate.
Yes, you read that right. As the game kickstarted, Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first, with four changes to the squad while England handed a debut to Rehan Ahmed and replaced James Anderson with Ben Foakes.

Babar Azam Lost His Cool

Initially, Babar Azam, who is playing his 100th international match as Pakistan captain, was in a great rhythm on the first day of the 3rd Test match as he registered his 25th Test half-century. He was all set to score a triple-figure score for the second time in the ongoing series. However, it wasn’t meant to be as the star batter had to walk back to the dressing room for a score of 78. Due to an unfortunate runout, Babar couldn’t convert his innings into a century.
The incident took place in the 59th over of the Pakistan innings when the hosts were batting at 219-5. Afghan Salman defended a delivery from England’s debutant Rehan Ahmed towards mid-wicket. The batter ran after calling for a run but he immediately stopped in the middle and then ran for the single. After this slutter, Babar fell short of the crease as an impressive throw from Harry Brook and brilliant glovework by Ben Foakes cut short Babar’s stay in the middle.
After the unfortunate dismissal, Babar Azam lost his cool and was visibly furious at Salman and looked at him in anger. The Pakistan captain was even spotted shouting at his teammate while walking back to the dressing room. The video of the same has been going viral on the internet.
