Bangladesh’s Bowler Ebadot Hossain Couldn’t Stop Himself From Praising Virat Kohli’s Shot

Virat Kohli’s cover drive has a separate fan following. Being a cricket fan, there are only a few things in the cricket world that are as beautiful as Virat’s cover drive. On Friday, as the Indian cricket team was locking with Bangladesh’s cricket team, Virat Kohli was in his elements.

The pink ball was making it tough for the batsmen, however, Virat got off the mark with an outside edge. Virat Kohli was quick to gain his rhythm. He entertained the jam-packed crowd at the Eden Gardens with some power-packed and jaw-dropping shots. As fans continued to cheer for their favorite star, he brought out his repertoire of classic shots.

Virat Kohli’s shots were so stunning that it made even the opposition applause for him on occasion. One such shot took place on the fourth delivery of the 17th over when Kohli played a stunning cover-drive off Bangladesh’s Ebadot Hossain, which made everyone’s jaw fell in surprise. The cover drive was so beautiful that instead of feeling bad, Ebadot Hossain was seen clapping as he praised the India superstar.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli went on to achieve another record as he became the first Indian captain to score 5,000 Test runs and joined the likes of Graeme Smith, Ricky Ponting and other greats of the game. He also broke Ponting’s record of fastest to 5,000 runs as Test captain. He remained unbeaten on 59 at the end of day one.
