Perth Scorchers thrashed Sydney Sixers by 79 runs to win the title of Big Bash League season 11. This is for the fourth time that Perth Scorchers won the title of the Big Bash League. However, following the big win, Perth Scorchers’ Jhye Richardson was seen with a bloody nose and mouth just a few moments after he picked the final wicket of the match.

Well, what happened was Jhye Richardson dismissed last Sixers’ batter Steve OKeefe with an LBW, following which the whole team engaged in some intense celebrations. The celebrations were so wild that Jhye Richardson copped a blow on the nose teammate’s shoulder struck against his nose and it started bleeding.

However, Richardson was still in a jovial mood and was seen laughing with blood all over his nose and mouth. The incident was enough to prove the player’s happiness on becoming a champion for the second time in a matter of only 4 months.

During the celebrations, Australia’s ex-cricketer Brad Hodge came onto the ground and interviewed Jhye Richardson. Even during the interview, Richardson was seen with blood on his nose and mouth.

“It’s always interesting. Copped one on the nose from one of the shoulders,” Richardson was heard saying this after the game. The video of the interview has been making rounds on the internet.

Meanwhile, talking about his performance, Richardson played a crucial role in Perth’s outstanding performance in the final clash. He gave away only 20 runs in 3.2 overs alongside taking a couple of wickets, to help his team win the title for the fourth time.
