BCCI Announce Squads To Play Against Sri Lanka And Australia: Jasprit Bumrah and Shikhar Dhawan will return to India’s squad in the upcoming series against Sri Lanka and Australia. India will play a T20I series against Sri Lanka and an ODI series against the Kangaroos.

Bumrah’s return will give a lot of satisfaction and joy to Indian cricket fans as he is, arguably, the best bowler in the world across all three formats of the game and watching him is one of the best sights in the game presently. Bumrah hasn’t played for India since the Test series against West Indies concluded early in September and he has been away from all the action due to a stress fracture of the back.

India’s dashing young all-rounder Hardik Pandya hasn’t been included for both the series as he continues to recover from a back problem. However, the swashbuckling opener, Shikhar Dhawan has once again found a place in the squad immediately after recovering from a leg injury.

Another big news is that India’s vice-captain and one of the best ODI batsmen in the world, Rohit Sharma has been rested for the T20I series against Sri Lanka. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami has also been rested for the series against Sri Lanka. However, both, Rohit and Shami will play in the ODI series against Australia.

India squad for T20 series against Sri Lanka: Virat Kohli (capt), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson, Rishabh Pant (wk), Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Navdeep Saini, Jasprit Bumrah, Washington Sundar.
