The tri series of T20 internationals between India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will commence from March 6. The ‘Nidhas’ as it is being called will be played as a part of the celebrations of completion of 70 years of Sri Lanka’s independence.

Format Of The Tournament

The tournament will be played in a round robin manner between the three nations. This means that these teams would play twice against each other before two teams finally make it to the finals. Given India’s limited overs performance in recent times this seems like a cake walk for India.

All these matches will be played in Colombo at the Premadasa Stadium. The final of the tournament will be played on March 18th between the two teams qualifying for the finals.

This is how the fixtures of the T20 Tri Series have been fixed

FULL SCHEDULE:

6TH MARCH 2018 – Sri Lanka VS India

8TH MARCH 2018 – Bangladesh VS India

10TH MARCH 2018 – Sri Lanka VS Bangladesh

12TH MARCH 2018 – India VS Sri Lanka

14TH MARCH 2018 – India VS Bangladesh

16TH MARCH 2018 – Bangladesh VS Sri Lanka

18TH MARCH 2018 – FINAL

Now it would be interesting to see as to which all youngsters will be given a chance in this series which seems easy. Would star players from India seek rest from the tournament or will India go full throttle, only time will tell.
