MS Dhoni is regarded as one of the greatest captains in the history of cricket in India. He emerged out as the most successful captain having won two ICC World Cups and one champions trophy for the country. He led the side with disdain and under his leadership, Indian cricket team touched new heights.

Under the leadership of MS Dhoni, the Indian cricket team became the number 1 team in the world, occupying the first position in the ICC Test Rankings.

Recently, MS Dhoni became the fourth Indian cricketer to reach the figures of 10,000 ODI runs. With this he became the 2nd wicketkeeper and overall 12th cricketer in the world to score 10,000 runs in ODI.

The Indian cricket team is currently on their UK tour where they recently played a T20i series and an ODI series. While Dhoni impressed everyone in the limited overs match, but he will not be able to perform in the longest format of the game.

Recently, a video went viral on social media were he was seen collecting the ball from the umpires. The incident has left everyone hinting about Dhoni’s retirement. Although, it will be very early to comment about his retirement but he did the exact same thing when he took retirement from Test cricket in the year 2014.

After stepping up from the position of Captain of Indian cricket team, he continued to guide the current skipper of Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. Although, it’s been two years since he stepped out from the position, but the official website of the BCCI still shows the former captain serving as the captain of Indian cricket team.

Here, have a look at the picture :

It also shows Virat Kohli, only as the cricketer and not as the current skipper of the team. Have a look :
