Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the finest swing bowlers in world cricket. He has a very clean action which helps him control his swing–both ways–in the most effective manner. However, in the last 12 months or so, he hasn’t played too much cricket and spent most of the time in nursing his injury and recovering from it.
He would be one of the several Indian cricketers for whop the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League will serve as a comeback to competitive cricket.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar Talked About How He Has Changed As A Bowler Over The Last Few Years
Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be seen donning the Oranger jersey, playing for David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad. He believes that bowlers must perform their role to good effect instead of merely adding to their own variations.
Recently, he was quoted by The Times Of India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that he has changed as a bowler as he has gained experience from playing. He said:
“I have definitely changed as a bowler over the last few years. Most importantly I have gained experience from playing for so many years, have learnt variations. I don’t think it is always about keep adding to your arsenal, it is also about being good at what you already do,”

Further Bhuvneshwar Kumar also noted that the bowling group had remained unchanged for the last couple of years, which is an advantage to a senior bowler like him. He said:
“As a senior bowler my approach will be similar as it has been for past couple of years. I’ll try to help and share my experience. The good thing about this bowling group is that we are playing together for the last 2-3 years so we understand each other pretty well,”
Meanwhile, with ample experience on his side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be spearheading the bowling department for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020, which has been moved to UAE because of rising cases in India.
Though the schedule of the tournament isn’t out yet but the league is slated to begin on 19th September, with the final game happening on 10th November.
