Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya return date has been reportedly revealed. The star player had earlier missed India’s World Cup 2023 games against New Zealand in Dharamsala and against England in Lucknow on Sunday after having suffered an ankle injury in Pune during the league-stage clash against Bangladesh.
Big Update On Hardik Pandya’s Comeback To Team India

Earlier it was reported that Hardik Pandya might miss the league phase entirely and will only return to the side during the knockout stage. Yet the news doesn’t come as a big blow to India.
Meanwhile, a BCCI release post the game against Bangladesh revealed that Hardik Pandya would miss the next game for the Indian cricket team and will join the side for the England game in Lucknow. However, Pandya failed to recover in time as he continued to rehabilitate at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
As per a report by Cricketnext, Hardik Pandya has shown significant improvement and he has already begun with net sessions under the observation and guidance of the medical team at the NCA. A source said:
“Hardik Pandya has already had a couple of net sessions at the NCA, is under constant supervision of the BCCI medical team and looking good,”
How Hardik got injured?
Hardik was bowling his first over against Bangladesh when he fell to the ground after rolling his ankle while trying to field a ball that Litton Das had knocked back to him. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for scans after being forced off the pitch. He didn’t return for the remainder of the game. Virat Kohli filled his shoes to bowl out the final three deliveries of his over.
Mohammed Shami and Suryakumar Yadav were added to the playing XI for the matches against England and New Zealand in his absence.
