If multiple sources are to be believed, Deepika and Ranveer could be in the running to own a team with global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United. Meanwhile, a top official involved with the bidding process said:

“The BCCI is not keen to give the rights to an off-shore company and will prefer Indian buyers but power equations can change the script dramatically,”

The result will be declared in Dubai on October 25th, a day after the high-voltage clash between arch rivals Pakistan and India. Winning bids could be anywhere between 375 to 425 million USD per team for a 10-year license. This means that the Indian board will make anything between INR 3000-3500 crores per team. But there could be bigger surprises in store.
