Brad Hogg Gave A Heart-Winning Reply After A Fan Asked If Pujara Is ‘Too Slow’

Brad Hogg Showered Praises On Pujara: The longest format of cricket is hailed as the purest form of the game as it is all about patience, determination, and resilience. And India’s Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara has everything a classic Test batsman needs. The cricketer is often hailed as the ‘modern Wall’ of the game.

Time and again, Pujara has given many memorable performances. The latest one being his heroics at the Gaba, where India scripted History. The cricketer was hit on his finger, ribs, shoulder, and helmet (twice so far) throughout his knock-on day 5 of the fourth and final Test match at the Gabba, however, he remained unfazed by all the body blows and showed immense fighting spirits.

Despite giving many memorable performances, the cricketer is often criticized for slowing down the pace of the innings.

Recently, Australia’s veteran cricketer Brad Hogg decided to host a Question and Answer session on Twitter, where he rubbished all the claims of Cheteshwar slowing down the pace of the innings. Well during the Question and Answer session, a fan asked Brad Hodge whether Cheteshwar Pujara is too slow in Tests. The fan asked:

“Is Pujara too slow in Tests?”

The tweet soon caught the attention of Brad, who was quick to come up with a heart-winning reply to the fan. In his reply, Hogg hailed Pujara and showered praises on him. He also admitted that he loves watching him bat. He wrote:

“Not with the batters around him. You need someone like that to bat time. I actually enjoy watching him bat, appreciating his patience and determination.”

Further, in the interaction with his fans, Brad also predicted the winner of the much-awaited World Test Championship Final, which will take place between India and New Zealand and will kickstart from June 18 in Southampton. The cricketer was asked about his ‘prediction for #WTCFinal’, responding to which, Brad Hogg accepted that though it is tough to pick one among the two, but, New Zealand will be favorites. He wrote:

“Tough but I feel New Zealand playing two tests before the final will give them an advantage,”
