Brian Lara, the former West Indies cricketer, is regarded as one of the legends of this game. Brian Lara made his debut for the Caribbean side during an ODI series against Pakistan in 1990. During his glorious career, Brian Lara amassed a total of 11,953 runs in the longest format of the game besides notching up 10,450 runs in ODIs.
Recently, Brian Lara decided to walk back to the memory lane. He took to his social media and shared a throwback picture of himself posing with the Indian batsman Suresh Raina. Taking to his Instagram account, the Caribbean legend shared Suresh Raina’s ‘fan moment’ when the Indian batsman got a picture with him in the year 2003. Sharing the picture, Brian Lara wrote:
“Who are these youths?? Fan moment I understand! He turned out to be a special player. #2003 #tell (sic.),”

The post was soon flooded with reactions from netizens. The picture was no less than an eye treat for the cricket fans. The best comment came from none other than Suresh Raina, who described this moment as a ‘very very special moment’. He wrote:
“Indeed my fan moment with very very special memories.”
Brian Lara was quick to notice the comment and come up with a reply. In his comment, Brian Lara took a dig at Suresh Raina over his oversized shirt. Trolling Suresh Raina, Brian Lara wrote:
“Suresh Raina but oversize clothing is now a thing of the past. #lastdance,”

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina, who is fondly called “Mr.IPL” was all set to play for his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 2020 edition of the  Indian Premier League, which was initially slated to start March 29 but has now been postponed indefinitely by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) due to coronavirus pandemic.
