The Indian cricket team was thrashed by the England cricketers in the third T20I match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad to take a 2-1 lead in the ongoing 5-match series. Chasing a total of 157 runs, England batsmen once again dominated over the Indian bowlers and crossed the finishing line in the 19th over.

England’s star batsman Jos Buttler gave a match-winning performance and turned the tables for his country. He scored an unbeaten 83 runs and made sure to take his team to the winning side.
Jos Buttler along with Dawid Malan put England in the driver’s seat with a 58-run stand and together smashed the Indian bowlers all around the ground. The England wicketkeeper reached his half-century in just 26 balls in the ninth over of England’s innings.
In the very next over, Washington Sundar gave a much-needed breakthrough to the Indian cricket team by dismissing Malan. However, England was quick to recover from this blow as Buttler formed a stunning partnership with Bairstow of an unbeaten 77-run stand to take their team home with ease.
Earlier in the game, Virat Kohli starred with the bat for team India as he bounced back into the form and played an unbeaten knock of 77 runs to give a competitive total of 156 runs to England. However, Virat’s heroics went in vain as Indian bowlers couldn’t stop the England batsmen from chasing the total.
Meanwhile, as soon as the Indian cricket team was defeated by the England cricketers, social media was already flooded with reactions from Twitterati on this. While many praised England’s batsmen, on the other hand, there were many who raised questions on India’s poor fielding and Virat’s captaincy.

In this series, batsmen have edged the ball 43 times. Those 43 balls have led to 79 runs and only five wickets. #IndvEng

I’m hearing Kohli shouted on Don Shardul. I don’t know how Virat will face him in team meeting now.

Poor start, poor fielding, toss, ordinary bowling on a wicket that was helping spin. Except the Virat masterclass nothing really worked for India against a superb England T20 unit. To game 4. Again I would say india will make a comeback and level it 2-2.

Have always said this. Ind hides it’s poor fielding by always talking about fitness. The captain leads the way in this. #ENGvIND #Kohli #IndiavsEngland https://t.co/xiXWxgkVhT
