The match turned out to be one of the most nail-biting match, the suspense in the second innings kept everyone on the edge of their seats. No one had any idea, which team might win the match.
In the second innings of the match, the defending champions were high on confidence. They turned the tables upside down. The defending champions once again left everyone stunned by the way they bundled up all the players of Chennai Super kings.

The second innings started with a very bad note for the players of Chennai Super Kings as the opener of the team, Shane Watson was sent back within the first over, without scoring any runs. Ambatti Rayudu, the star player of the team failed to perform tonight as he was bowled out by Sidharth Kaul.
Soon, the wickets of Chennai Super Kings kept falling down one after the other. MS Dhoni, the skipper of the team was bowled out by Rashid Khan, the young leg spinner of Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Rashid Khan once again stunned everyone with his brilliant performance, he took 3 wickets including one run-out of Harbhajan Singh.

However, Faf du Plessis turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the Chennai Super Kings. He gave a thrilling performance and scored 67 runs off 42 balls, he remained unbeaten till the last ball. However, he started off slow but he fastened his speed int he last few overs. He smashed 5 fours and 4 sixes, including the winning sixer.
Apart from him, Shardul Thakur scored quick 15 runs in 5 balls he played. He smashed 3 fours. Taking the match away from Surnisers Hyderabad.

Earlier in the first innings, the players of Chennai Super Kings were on fire tonight, they didn’t spare any free runs to the players of Sunrisers Hyderabad. They didn’t let the players of Sunrisers score a huge total and restricted them to 139 runs.
The runs were chased wonderfully by the players of Chennai Super Kings and they won by 2 wickets.
