Suresh Raina played one of the best innings of his life, in the final of CLT20 2014. Chasing 181, Raina scored 109 runs off 62 balls. He smashed 8 sixes and 6 fours. Raina’s dazzling knock allowed CSK to chase down a big total with ease and balls to spare. The biggest highlight of Raina’s innings was his straight sixes.

Kane Williamson’s solid knock of 101 runs off 49 balls against Cape Cobras

 




 

Kane Williamson is one of the best batsmen in New Zealand, and undoubtedly the best batsman of Northern Knights. In the recently conculded CLT20 2014, Kane Williamson batted brilliantly for Norther Knights. His innings in the match against Cape Cobras was a one of the better T20 innings, one will ever get to see. Through this knock, he showed to the world that he can play in any format, be it the T20’s, Tests or One day. Williamson smashed 5 sixes and 8 fours in the innings.

Johnathan Carter’s 111* off 68 balls against Cape Cobras

Having batted 17.4 overs for 111* off 68 balls, Carter failed to close out a Super Over chase of 12 against Cape Cobras. Carter’s 111* is the highest individual score by a batsman in CLT20 2014. Carter smashed 5 sixes and 10 fours in this innings. It was also Carter’s maiden T20 hundred.

Suryakumar Yadav’s match-winning knock of 43 runs off 19 balls against Hobart Hurricanes

 

Chasing 152 for win, Kolkata Knight Riders lost early wickets but Suryakumar Yadav’s  knock of 43 runs off 19 balls helped them achieve the target in 19.4 overs and set a domestic record of 12 straight wins. Suryakumar’s 19-ball knock was laced by a four and 4 sixes.

Robert Frylinck’s aggressive knock of 63 runs off 27 against Lahore Lions

 

Robert Frylinck went all bizarre trying to deposit each ball in the stands. The target was 185 and Dolphins were struggling at 93 for 9. It was looking all over, but Frylinck had some other ideas. He smashed 6 sixes and 4 fours in the innings. Although, he couldn’t win the match for his team, but it was a real treat to watch, as Frylinck made batting look ridiculously easy.
