Complete Schedule Of Asia Cup 2022

On Tuesday, the Asian Cricket Council announced the much-awaited schedule for the upcoming Asia Cup 2022, starting August 27. The marque event is being hosted by Sri Lanka in the UAE. India, who are the defending champions, will kickstart their campaign in the Asia Cup with a high-voltage clash with arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on August 28.

Meanwhile, the tournament opener will be played between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan on August 27th, while the final of the Asia Cup 2022 will be played on September 11. The main tournament will feature six teams divided into two groups of three teams.

UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Hong Kong will be playing a Qualifier in order to fight for the 6th and final spot in the Asia Cup 2022. It has to be noted that the Indian cricket team is in Group A alongside Pakistan.
