Joseph, with a base price of Rs 1 crore, became the center of a bidding war involving RCB, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and Lucknow Super Kings. Eventually, RCB secured him for Rs 11.5 crore. Yash Dayal, released by Gujarat Titans before the auction, was also picked up by RCB for Rs 5 crore.
The franchise managed to secure a couple of steals by signing England all-rounder Tom Curran and New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson for Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 2 crore, respectively.
