The One Day International (ODI) Cricket World Cup, usually referred to as the Cricket World Cup or the ICC CWC, is an international competition.

The competition is run by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

There are presently 20 teams competing in the tournament, comprising the top 10 teams in the rankings now and six additional teams are chosen through the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India)) annual meeting was conducted in Mumbai for the 91st time on October 18, 2022. The general body approved the organization of the eagerly anticipated Women’s Indian Premier League (Women’s IPL (Indian Premier League).

Hence The FTP, which was produced by Members working together with ICC’s assistance to clarify the calendar, is the outcome of their collaborative efforts.

The FTP for each Member varies depending on their overall cricketing and business plans and is based on bilateral and mutual agreements.

There are 770 matches in the 2023–27 FTP (Future Tours Programmed). In addition to bilateral cricket, this four-year cycle will feature one Men’s Cricket World Cup, one Men’s Cricket Champions Trophy, two Men’s T20 World Cups, and two Men’s T20 World Cup finals.

In the third and fourth editions of the WTC, which also includes 19 two-match series and five three-match series per edition in the Championship that runs from 2023–25 and 2025–27, Australia, England, and India all play five-match Test series.
