Cricketing Fraternity Pay Tributes To Legendary Sportsperson Kobe Bryant

On Sunday, the world was left in shock on hearing the news of American basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Maria Onore Bryant’s death in a helicopter crash. The father-daughter duo was among the nine people who died in the crash in Calabasas, California.

People on social media are paying their tributes to the legendary basketball player who has given us many memorable moments while playing for his side.

The Indian skipper, Virat Kohli also took to his Instagram and paid rich tributes to the legendary basketball player. In his post, Virat Kohli expressed how he used to wake up early to watch the legendary basketball player, Kobe Bryant do magic on the basketball court. Virat wrote:

“Absolutely devastated to hear this news today. So many childhood memories of waking up early and watching this magician doing things on the court that I would be mesmerized by. Life is so unpredictable and fickle. His daughter Gianna passed away too in the crash. Iam absolutely Heartbroken. Rest in peace. Strength and condolences to the family ?”

The Indian head coach, Ravi Shastri also took to his Twitter and paid tributes to the legend. He wrote:

“Absolutely devastated by the tragic news of Kobe Bryant and his daughter. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans across the globe”
