Dale Steyn is one of the best fast bowlers in the history of the game. Many pundits and analysts believe that, at his peak, Steyn was one of the most difficult bowlers to face. His ability to swing the ball both ways at an extreme pace made him one of the toughest bowlers to face in all forms of cricket.

These days, when the whole world is fighting against the coronavirus and the governments across the world have told their citizens to stay home as social distancing is the only way to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Dale Steyn is spending a lot of time on social media and interacting with his fans.

On 12th April, Dale Steyn did a ‘Q&A’ with his fans on Twitter and answered some questions that were asked by his followers. Many cricketers have been doing this as fans are more active online during the quarantine period. We have also seen cricketers like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and former cricketers like Kevin Pietersen and Yuvraj Singh, have appeared on Instagram live sessions to interact with their fans.

During his ‘Q&A’, a fan named Cole Largier asked Dale Steyn to name the best batsman he has ever played against. This was a very good question as Dale Steyn had many intense individual battles against the best batters of his generation.

Dale Steyn didn’t name one but five batsmen in his reply. The South African speedster named Ricky Ponting, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Chris Gayle, and Kevin Pietersen. This answer brought back many good memories for cricket fans as watching Steyn battle it out against the batters he mentioned, was a treat to watch for cricket lovers across the world.
