India tamed the English batting order in stunning fashion as Ashwin took out the sting of the English batting by picking up a fiver. It was not just Ashwin’s tight bowling that left England gobsmacked but combined efforts from Axar Patel and Ishant Sharma left the batters in dilapidation.

Mohammad Siraj was one of those Indian bowlers today who didn’t see much of the ball as he was only given 5 overs to bowl. In those 5 overs he picked up 4 maiden overs and managed to pick the imperative scalp of Olly Pope who looked threatening in thw beginning.

Siraj’s former IPL team-mate, Dale Steyn was intrigued at the prospect of the young Indian fast bowler bowling some brilliant spell. Unfortunately, he could only watch him bowl just five overs that exuded brilliance with every ball being bowled.

Steyn tweeted, “Will Siraj even bowl this innings?”

The fans were waiting for the pacer to pick up the cherry in his hand and when he managed to pick up a wicket in the first ball of his spell, they didn’t relinquish a single opportunity to lionize the strapping lad.

India is cruising towards a victory at the moment after their bowlers inflicted humilation upon the visitors. Rohit Sharma has once again placed his foot on the gas and the English bowlers are already search of an alternative.
