Virat Kohli once again gave the testimony of this fact, that why he is regarded as the modern-day legend of this game. The skipper of India, became the fastest to score 10,000 runs yesterday, breaking the records of legends.

Virat achieved this milestone, amidst his brilliant knock of unbeaten 157 runs and smashing 13 fours and 4 sixes against Windies in the second ODI of the 5-match series. This was Virat’s second consecutive ton in the series, and his 37th in his ODI career.

He went on to break the record of Sachin Tendulkar, who achieved this milestone of 10,000 runs in 259 ODI innings. Virat Kohli became the quickest player to achieve this milestone in his 205th ODI innings. The way he is breaking the records and creating tons, he seems to be on some serious mission.

The fan world and cricket fraternity went berserk hailing ‘King Kohli’ for achieving this milestone. From fans to legends to celebrities, everyone took to their twitter and appreciated Virat for achieving another milestone, however, one tweet got some special attention from fans.
