Recently, while speaking to Sportskeeda, Danny opined that the West Indies all-rounder is an “overrated cricketer” of the present generation. Yes, you read that right. Danny left everyone surprised with his opinion.
The former New Zealand player also gave his opinion about the most underrated cricketer. And as per him, India’s middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav and opener Ishan Kishan are the most underrated cricketers. Interestingly, both the cricketers are the teammates of Kieron in the Mumbai Indian franchise of the Indian Premier League and have also been instrumental for a long time.
Further, Danny also named his favorite IPL franchise during the interaction. He stated that Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is his favorite IPL team.
Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard and Suryakumar Yadav have been retained by Mumbai Indians ahead of the upcoming IPL mega-auction. Apart from them, skipper Rohit Sharma and sensational bowler Jasprit Bumrah have also been retained by the franchise.
