With David Warner, captain of Australian cricket team, Steven Smith and Cameron Bancroft were also banned from playing the game as they were caught live doing the ball-tempering.

After the investigations, it was found that David Warner was the mastermind behind all this. And for the same reason David Warner can not be a part of the leadership group for the rest of his career.

Apart from playing for the country, these cricketers were not allowed to participate in the season 11 of Indian Premiere League. Kane Williamson replaced David Warner as the skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the season 11 of IPL.

The past few months have been very tough for Warner as he made a comeback to the game with Global T20 Canada, however, Warner failed to leave mark through the course of the tournament.

Despite his not that good performance, Warner is very optimistic about his chances. Recently he was quoted saying :

“I’m pretty good when I’m fresh,”

Warner is very confident that his break period will only do good to him. He also went on to add that one doesn’t lose his form overnight. He said:

“If you look at the last 12 months, I played basically every game (for Australia) and didn’t get a rest. I had a five-day turnaround before the first Test in South Africa and I led the team in (the T20 tri-series in Australia and) New Zealand when some of the other guys had a rest. So I know that the breaks do me (good), and you don’t lose form overnight,”

David Warner will be seen in form in the upcoming Carribean Premier League (CPL), that will begin next month.
