Star Australia opener David Warner reacted to Kapil Sharma’s tweet in which the world-famous comedian slammed Indigo Airlines for causing trouble and frustration among its passengers.

Over the past couple of days, comedian Kapil Sharma has launched an attack on Twitter against Indigo Airlines for their service in the flight that he was traveling on Wednesday.

On Wednesday evening, Kapil Sharma laid bare his disappointment with Indigo airline, alleging a delay of over an hour, and an absurd excuse that the pilot was stuck in traffic.

Then Kapil posted a video tweet, saying that Indigo was “lying” to its passengers and that there are “some old passengers on wheel chairs, not in a very good health condition”.

This latest tweet from Kapil came to the notice of David Warner, who gave support to Kapil and said that in the past he had some of his friends were stuck and troubled in the same manner.

David Warner quoted Kapil Sharma’s tweet: “This is a very sad situation and I had friends stuck in a similar manner.”

Meanwhile, David Warner is set for his Test retirement in the upcoming home summer. Starting December 14, Australia will host Pakistan for 3 Test matches, that of which is in Warner’s home ground at the SCG. It is almost confirmed that the SCG Test, at his home ground, will be the last Test match for the 37-year-old.

Pat Cummins said on Warner: “He’s a great of our game in all formats. So no doubt that’s part of it. First and foremost you think of the performance side of things when you are picking a side.”

Having made his Test debut in 2011, Warner has so far scored 8487 in 109 Tests at an average of 44 with 25 centuries and 36 fifties. His best Test score of 335* came against Pakistan four years ago in Adelaide.
