David Warner Shared An Emotional Message From His Daughter On His Instagram

Former Sunrisers Hyderabad‘s skipper and Australian star player David Warner shared an emotional message sent to him from his adorable daughters back home after the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League was suspended on Tuesday.

For the unversed, on Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India took a bold decision on Tuesday as having hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, BCCI suspended IPL 2021 for the time being. The decision came after several players turned COVID positive within the IPL bio bubble, which has led to the suspension of the season mid-way.

The Australian star player David Warner, who is currently with the squad in Delhi, has three adorable daughters with his wife waiting eargerly for him to get back home.

On Tuesday, David Warner took to his Instagram and shared a picture of the message, which had a family drawing and a note that read: “Please daddy, come home straight away. We miss you and a lot and love you. Love from Ivy, Indi and Isla.”

Meanwhile, David Warner alongwith other fellow countrymen, has an uphill task ahead of them to return home as the country has banned international flights from India until May 15. Later, Cricket Australia and Australian Cricketers’ Association, released a statement stating that they will soon make arrangements and will make sure that every Australian involved in the IPL gets back home safely. In a statement CA and ACA said:

CA is in direct contact with the BCCI as they work through plans to ensure the safe accommodation and repatriation of Australian players, coaches, match officials and commentators back home to Australia,”

CA and the ACA respect the decision of the Australian Government to pause travel from India until at least May 15 and will not seek exemptions,” read the statement.
