David Warner Wrote A Beautiful Message For Shikhar Dhawan On Twitter

Cricket LoungeBy Cricket Lounge26/07/2017Updated:08/02/2023No Comments1 Min Read

Shikhar Dhawan, on Wednesday, played one of the most destructive Test innings we have ever seen. Dhawan was not a part of the original squad but he was drafted in after Murali Vijay, who is India’s first choice opener in Test cricket, was ruled out for the first two matches of the series. And, it would be fair to say that, with this blistering innings, Dhawan has announced his comeback and added more to the ‘problem of plenty’ for the Indian captain Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri.

Dhawan’s Sun Risers Hyderabad teammate and one of the most destructive batsmen in world cricket, David Warner is very impressed with his innings and even congratulated him on Twitter. Both, Dhawan and Warner, have been opening the innings together for SRH in IPL and they share a very good friendship.

Well played to @SDhawan25 awesome to see him go well. Love Sri Lanka what a place.
