David Warner Wrote A Heartfelt Apology For Mohammed Siraj And Team India: The third match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar trophy turned out to be the most thrilling and entertaining match of the ongoing series. The Indian cricket team performed brilliantly despite most of the players being injured. However, there were many disappointing moments off-fields that sparked some controversy.

Massive controversy erupted when Indian pacers Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah faced racial abuse by the Australian supporters in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy’s third Test match. The two bowlers finally lodged a complaint against the crowd after being subjected to racial abuse over the course of the first three days.

On Tuesday, Australia’s star batsman David Warner took to his social media and penned a heartfelt message for Siraj and the Indian cricket team.

In his Instagram post, David Warner shared a picture of the Australian team. He started by expressing his thoughts about the match, which unfortunately for the Australians ended in a draw. He also congratulated India for the way they fought and saved the day for them.

Further, Warner apologized to Mohammed Siraj and the rest of the Indian cricket team for the racial abused they faced at the SCG. He claimed that abuse is not acceptable in any way. He wrote:

“It was great to be back out on the park again this week. Was not the ideal result for us but this is what Test cricket is all about. 5 days of tough cricket and well done to our guys for working as hard as we could, congrats to India in the way they fought hard for the draw, and that’s why we love this game, it’s not easy. Move onto Brisbane now for the decider and what a place the Gabba is to play at”,

“I’d also like to say sorry to @mohammedsirajofficial and the Indian team as racism, and abuse is not in any way acceptable or tolerated anywhere at any time, and I would expect better from our home crowd,”
