If the batting all-rounder isn’t available in the country, please try to groom the bowling all-rounders. Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur have put their hands up in style. #SAvInd

That was skilful stuff from Deepak today. Outstanding cricket from South Africa. Well done on clean sweep. Team India will have different road map after the 3rd game performance. Fast bowling replacement looks surely ready.

Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur are the kind of players India need to be looking for. People who genuinely contribute two ways.

Feel for Deepak Chahar – played one of the best knock under pressure but no help from the rest and lost the match. pic.twitter.com/tkHymnjaWH

Talking about the game, chasing a formidable total of 287 runs, the Indian side kickstarted on a bad note as they lost their captain KL Rahul early on 9. After Rahul’s departure, Virat Kohli came out to bat at no.3
Virat joined hands with Shikhar Dhawan and together they stitched a 98-run stand for the second wicket. Virat scored another half-century and was dismissed on 61 by Andile Phehlukwayo. Rishabh Pant also became the target of Andile in the same over.
While the middle-order failed miserably, India’s bowling all-rounder Deepak Chahar shared a crucial 55 run stand with Jasprit Bumrah to put pressure on the home side but SA’s bowlers’ clinical performance in the last two overs helped them thrash team India
Meanwhile, with this defeat, South Africa managed to whitewash the Indian cricket team and registered a 3-0 win in the just concluded 3-match ODI series. Earlier, the Indian side was thrashed by South Africa in the 3-match Test series as well, by 2-1. The Indian side will now return home with series defeats across formats.
