Former Indian captain Virat Kohli sent a strong message to his critics as he shared a motivational post that suggested his only competition is himself. Virat recently resigned from the position of Test captaincy after the 1-2 loss to South Africa.

However, Kohli is now looking forward to getting back in the usual ‘run machine‘ mode. Virat is looking to challenge himself as he hinted the same through his latest post on Instagram. On Monday, Virat Kohli took to Instagram and shared a mirror image of himself where he was looking a bit intense. Sharing the picture, Virat wrote:

“Its always you vs you.”

The image went viral in no time and was flooded with amazing reactions from the fans to it. However, an Australian cricket writer tried to troll Virat Kohli in his latest post.

For the unversed, Dennis Freedman, who is a well-known cricket journalist, is often seen making insulting remarks about India and Indian cricketers. He is a big fan of the Pakistan cricket team and leaves no stone unturned to appease his followers from the country.

Dennis was at it again as he trolled Virat Kohli by taking a dig at his recent ‘stump-mic’ controversy, where he was seen raging into the stump mic during the game.

Here, check out his post:

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will be next seen in action in India’s upcoming limited-overs series at home against West Indies, which will kickstart from 6th February.
